However, even though it’s based on the popular Innova Hycross, this 7-seater couldn’t achieve the success the brand had expected. Yes, we are talking about the Maruti Invicto, which is essentially a rebadged version of the Innova Hycross. For December 2025, Maruti is trying to boost Invicto sales by offering a discount of up to Rs 2.5 lakh! The Invicto is currently priced between Rs 29.47 lakh & Rs 33.72 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

The Invicto gets features like a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, ventilated & powered front seats, automatic climate control, and more. Powering the Invicto is a 2.0-litre strong hybrid petrol engine producing 186.3bhp and 206Nm of torque along with an e-CVT.
American SUV! – 7-seater Discount December
The next 7-seater SUV on our list has its roots in the West! It is an SUV from the house of an American brand with a legacy of its own. However, in India, the brand never had a successful run. We are talking about the Jeep, which is currently offering the Meridian at a discount of Rs 1.50 lakh. Powered by the same engine as the Harrier/Safari, the Meridian is currently priced between Rs 28.65 lakh & Rs 44.26 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

The Meridian offers features like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, Level 2 ADAS & others in its package. Powering the Meridian is a 2.0-litre diesel engine (168bhp & 350Nm) – mated to a 6MT & 8AT gearbox options.
XL-Sized SUV!
An SUV once challenged the legacy of the Toyota Fortuner, but potential buyers completely ignored it! It is double in dimensions of the Fortuner, has a luxurious interior, and is priced rather aggressively. It is the MG Gloster, which is currently being offered at a Rs 4 lakh discount. India’s cheapest SUV to come with a twin-turbo diesel engine is currently priced between Rs 46.50 lakh & Rs 53.13 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

In terms of features, the Gloster gets an ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, powered front seats, a massaging and ventilated driver seat, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and the list goes on. MG offers 2 engine options with the SUV: a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine (161bhp & 375Nm) and a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine (215bhp & 480Nm).

Finally, we have another 7-seater from Jeep, which is undoubtedly the most ignored car in India. We are talking about the flagship Jeep SUV – the Grand Cherokee! Jeep’s offering is priced between Rs 75.45 lakh & Rs 75.99 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). A segment that is ruled by the German brands in India. And at such a competitive price segment, the Grand Cherokee offers just a single petrol engine option. To boost sales, Jeep is offering a Rs 4 lakh discount on the Grand Cherokee for December 2025.
