Upcoming Honda SUV – Launch Details

First among the upcoming 7 Honda SUVs will be the 0 Series SUV. The model was showcased in its production form at the currently happening Tokyo Motor Show. The SUV will go on sale in North America by 2026, and will then be brought to India via import route. However, it is not yet confirmed if the model will be brought via a CBU or CKD route.
This SUV being an import so expect it to be priced on the premium side. We expect the model to be priced between Rs 28 lakh and Rs 40 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). It will rival the likes of Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Sealion 7, Mahindra XEV 9e and Tata Harrier EV.

About The SUV

The SUV boasts a very different design, looking like a space-ship from the rear. Some design highlights include vertical pixel-shaped design for headlamps, U-shaped tail lamps, flush door handles, clean design without any sharp lines and others.
One of the biggest advantages is the spacious interior offered on this SUV. The brand has not yet revealed the feature list of this model, but we expect some features like a dual connected screen, large glass roof, clean interior layout, connected car tech, premium sound system and more in its package. The brand has also said that it will focus on technologies such as Level 3 automated driving for their 0 Series EVs.

The brand has been tight lipped about the technical specifications of this model. However, we expect the SUV to boast multiple battery packs sized maximum 100kWh delivering an estimated range of more than 550km on a single charge.
