Mahindra’s Nexon Rival Discount

Mahindra has two SUVs to rival the likes of the Tata Nexon. However, none of these has made any impact on the sales of the Tata SUV. Among these, one of the Mahindras has just received a massive discount. It is the XUV400. The model was launched to rival the Nexon.ev, but made no impact on the popularity of the Tata! Having said that, the brand is now forced to offer a discount of Rs 3.25 lakh on its EL Pro variant! The said variant is currently priced between Rs 17.90 lakh & Rs 18.89 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Now, although it is not as popular as the Nexon, the XUV400 is one of the most fun-to-drive SUVs, which is also loaded with decent features! Let’s take a look at the same.

Mahindra XUV400 Discount – Specs & Features

The EL Pro variant, which has received a discount, is available with two battery pack options – a 34.5kWh battery and a 39.4kWh battery. The 34.5kWh battery, along with a single motor, produces 148bhp and has a 375km claimed range. On the other hand, the 39.4kWh battery produces a similar power at 148bhp but has higher torque at 310Nm. It gets a claimed range of 456km. So with the higher torque, driving the XUV400 is fun – also thanks to the planted chassis.

In terms of features, the SUV gets an electric sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, cruise control and a lot more. These features, along with the space on offer, make it a very practical and comfortable SUV. Additionally, you get safety features like ESP, hill-hold assist, and more to ensure a safe drive. Overall, with all the mentioned equipment and the available discount, the XUV400 is an SUV you can consider in December 2025!
