Volkswagen SUV Discount – Taigun


For this month, Volkswagen has announced a discount worth up to Rs 2 lakh on the Taigun SUV. The maximum discount of Rs 2 lakh is available on all the trims (except comfortline) on the MY2024 Taigun. On offer are a cash discount of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, loyalty benefits of up to Rs 20,000, and a choice between a Rs 30,000 exchange bonus and a Rs 20,000 scrappage benefit.
The entry level Comfortline trim paired with manual gearbox is now available at Rs 10.58 lakh (ex-showroom) which is nearly Rs 80,000 less than the normal price. This price cut is available on both MY25 and MY24 models.
In brief, the 1.0-litre TSI trims are available with a discount of Rs 1.5 lakh, while the 1.5-litre TSI trims cater a maximum discount of Rs 50,000. The Highline Plus and the Topline trims of the model can be availed with a maximum discount of Rs 1 lakh. The GT Plus variants of the model don’t get any cash discounts, however customers can avail a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000 and choose between a Rs 30,000 exchange bonus and a Rs 20,000 scrappage benefit.

What Does Taigun Offer?


Overall, the Volkswagen Taigun is a good package for those who want a high-revving engine. The model comes with 1.0-litre TSI (114bhp & 170Nm) & 1.5-litre TSI (148bhp & 250Nm)paired with manual, AT and DSG options.
On the feature front, the Taigun lags behind the competition. However, that will be taken care of with the upcoming facelift, which is scheduled for launch in the coming months. Talking about the current model, the SUV offers features like LED headlamps, a 10.1-inch touchscreen system, powered seats, ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, an electric sunroof, and more. The facelift is expected to bring features like panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS and a few more.
