Royal Enfield Sales Analysis Jan 2026: Bullet, Classic, Hunter, Meteor

Except the Himalayan 450, every mainstream Royal Enfield motorcycle in the 350cc and 450cc segment registered YoY growth in Jan 2026

Royal Enfield sold a total of 1.04 lakh motorcycles last month which included 93,781 units in the domestic market and 10,541 units for export markets. The company posted a YoY growth of 14 percent as it had retailed 91,132 units in January 2025. It also registered YoY growth of 16 percent in domestic sales as 81,052 units were sold in Jan 2025. The export business also rose by 5 percent YoY as 10,080 made-in-India units were shipped during the same month last year. Lets have a look at the model wise sales analysis.

The Classic 350 spearheaded the brand’s sales growth in Jan 2026 with 34,981 units as compared to 30,582 units in Jan 2025. The Classic 350 has been the best-selling RE motorcycle over the years with average monthly sales in excess of 30k units. The demand for the roadster motorcycle further grew due to reduced pricing post the introduction of GST 2.0 in Sep 2025 in the country.

Upnext was the old-school Bullet 350 with retro styling and unfaded charm despite being on sale for so many years. The company sold a total of 22,345 units of the bike last month as compared to 19,163 units in Jan 2025. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 was last updated in late 2023 with modern features and new engine while retaining the iconic and timeless design.

The Hunter 350 continued to sell in decent numbers in Jan 2026 as sales touched 20,329 units with a YoY growth of 28 percent. Royal Enfield had sold 15,914 units of the bike in Jan 2025. It is the brand’s entry-level and most affordable motorcycle in the Indian market with prices starting as low as Rs 1.38 lakh for the factory variant.

The Meteor 350 sales in Jan 2026 stood at 9,921 units as compared to 8,373 units in Jan 2025. However, the Himalayan 450 witnessed a major drop of 40 percent in YoY sales as 1,634 units were retailed last month against 2,715 units sold in Jan 2025. Though it made some recovery in MoM numbers as only 979 units of the adventure motorcycle were sold in Dec 2025.

The Guerrilla 450 sales grew by a staggering 175 percent in Jan 2026 with 961 units being sold. As for the 650cc portfolio, Royal Enfield sold 2,666 units of the Interceptor and Continental GT while only 51 units of the Shotgun were retailed. The Super Meteor 650 recorded sales of 893 units in Jan 2026, up from 749 units in Jan 2025.
