Royal Enfield has registered its highest-ever annual sales in FY26 as volumes surpassed 1.2 million units in the financial year ending March 31, 2026. It is the second year on the trot when the Chennai-based two-wheeler brand has sold more than 1 million motorcycles. The company retailed 1,12,334 units in March 2026 with a YoY growth of 11 percent as compared to 1,01,021 units in March 2025. The overall sales in FY26 stood at 12,38,659 motorcycles with a growth of 23 percent against FY 2024–25 (10,09,900 units).
Royal Enfield sold a total of 11,07,343 units in FY26 in India, up by 23 percent from 9,02,757 units in FY 2024–25. The export volumes were at 1,31,316 units in FY26 as compared to 1,07,143 units in FY 2024-25 with a positive growth of 23 percent. The company stated that this record-breaking performance was driven by sustained demand across both domestic and international markets.
As far as March 2026 is concerned, Royal Enfield retailed 1,00,406 units in the domestic market with a YoY growth of 14 percent against 88,050 units in March 2025. However, the export numbers were down by 8 percent from 12,971 units in March 2025 to 11,928 units in March 2026. In the coming weeks, the sales numbers are likely to rise further as Royal Enfield introduces its first-ever electric motorcycle in the form of the Flying Flea C6 across global markets, including India.

Speaking about the performance for the year, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “Every year at Royal Enfield, we try to raise the bar a little higher than before, and this time was no different. We delivered our second consecutive year of over one million motorcycle sales, crossing 1.2 million units, our highest-ever annual performance. This year we also achieved our best-ever festive season sales and highest-ever volumes across both domestic and international markets. Our international business continues to be a focus area and we are deepening our presence in high-potential markets such as Brazil.”
Royal Enfield will expand its manufacturing capacity at its Cheyyar facility in Tamil Nadu by making an investment of Rs 958 Crores. The annual production capacity will increase from 14.6 lakh units to 20 lakh units, so that new models including the Flying Flea electric motorcycles are rolled out of this plant without hampering the production of other bikes.
