Design – Renault Duster vs Hyundai Creta vs Tata Sierra

The Renault Duster manages to maintain the good old charm of its rugged, boxy design even in its latest generation. This one now features Duster branding on the front grille and rear tailgate. More to this is the chunky black cladding running along the car’s side profile, and the front and rear bumpers with grey inserts. Overall, the new Duster looks quite appealing to the eye and will surely grab attention on the streets.

On the contrary, the Hyundai Creta has changed a lot from what it used to look like earlier. This SUV now features a more urban-modern design. Supporting the design are the huge front grille and the connected LED lights at the front and rear. The sleek yet SUV-like design is almost never unrecognisable.

The Tata Sierra is one of the most unique-looking Indian SUVs. With the slim LED bar running across the front end and larger-looking rear glass windows, just like the older Sierra, this SUV gives it a bold, futuristic look. The Sierra demands attention with its imposing stance.
Since looks are subjective, we want you to tell us which SUV looks most appealing to you.

When stepping inside the cabin, Renault welcomes you with a dual-screen setup featuring a 10.1-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch driver’s display. Duster is a feature-rich SUV with a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats with ventilation, an electric tailgate, and rain-sensing wipers. For safety, this new SUV comes with 6 airbags as standard and ADAS Level 2.

Tata SUVs are known for being tech-loaded, and the Sierra continues this tradition. Serria gets an additional screen, providing a triple-screen layout and allowing your co-passenger to have an independent screen. Sierra features a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree parking camera, ADAS Level-2, and, for safety, 6 airbags as standard, all of which remain common across all three SUVs.

Of the three SUVs, the Reualt is the only one with hybrid options. Under the hood, Renault is offering three powertrain options, including a 1.8-litre petrol hybrid(160bhp), a 1.3-litre turbo petrol(154bhp & 250Nm), and a 1-litre turbo petrol(98.63bhp & 160Nm). Paired with a 6-speed manual or the 6-speed DCT gearboxes. Today, Duster is only available in two turbo-petrol options, and the hybrid will be here by Diwali 2026.

Paired with a 6-speed manual, AT and DCT as well.
