Scorpio N Carbon Edition Discontinued!

Mahindra celebrated the success of the Scorpio N in February 2025. To mark the impressive feat of 2 lakh units being sold, Mahindra unveiled a special edition for the Scorpio N – the Carbon edition. It was the most feature-packed variant of them all. It also features blacked-out exteriors, dark chrome elements, and all-black interiors for a bolder look.

But now, it seems that Mahindra have discontinued the Carbon edition. Our sources informed us that the Carbon edition is no longer on sale. After verifying the information, it is safe to say that the brand has taken down all images and its brochure from the official website.
Mahindra keep inventing special editions for its models to keep things fresh. The BE6 Batman edition was particularly successful for the automaker, but the Carbon edition couldn’t garner the same love, which eventually caused its discontinuation.

Scorpio N Carbon Edition – Features

Since the Carbon edition was only offered on the top-end Z8 and Z8L trims, it got all the features available, like –

- Push Button Start
- Ventilated front seats
- 6-way powered driver seat
- 360-degree parking camera
- Wireless charging
- 12-speaker Sony Sound System
- 8-inch infotainment screen
- Electric sunroof
While these features may still be available on the Z8L, you would miss out on all-black interiors with the discontinuation of the Carbon edition.

Scorpio N Carbon Edition – What If You Wish To Buy One?

All-black models are usually popular, like Tata’s Dark editions, but Mahindra couldn’t crack the code with the Scorpio N. Nevertheless, the black exteriors complement the muscular looks of the Scorpio N well, and it thus has a small fanbase of its own. If you are part of this fan club, you should reach out to the nearest Scorpio N dealers for the leftover stock. You might even get big discounts if you buy one. Or you could opt for the dark chrome accessory package that costs around Rs 15,000. It still misses out on one or two blackened elements, but it is the closest you could get to a Carbon edition.
The Z8 and Z8L variants are priced between Rs 22.91 lakh and Rs 29.68 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). You had to pay a small premium for the Carbon edition. So if you were planning to buy the Scorpio N Carbon edition, head to your nearest Mahindra dealer before the stock runs out.
