Upcoming Honda Car –

The Japanese automaker has announced plans to launch several new cars by 2030. In the mix, the automaker is also planning to launch the Prelude in India. This car is a 2-door model based on the Honda Accord, sharing its underpinnings over time.
This model will be launched in India in the coming years; the exact timeline has not yet been disclosed. Moreover, it will be arriving as a CBU unit, so expect it to be priced a bit premium, and there will be limited units on sale. We expect this model to be priced between Rs 60 lakh and Rs 70 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With its sportier design, it will be rivalling the likes of the MG Cyberster. But why should you spend this much?

Honda Prelude – Not Unlike Other Sports Cars

So, unlike other ICE sports cars that deliver a mileage of 4-5kmpl. The Prelude will be powered with a 2.0-litre hybrid engine (197bhp & 315Nm). This engine here is the real game changer – with the hybrid tech – the model is expected to deliver a mileage of nearly 23-24kmpl. Another deal is the S+ Shift tech and four driving modes: Comfort, GT, Sport, and Individual. The S+ Shift system simulates the feel and sound of a traditional stepped transmission.
While you get a good mileage, the drawback is – the Prelude sprints from 0-100kmph in 6-7 seconds. But, it’s still one of the fast cars that you can drive in the city.

Its sports car-like design will turn several heads on the way. Being a stylish 2-door, it can comfortably accommodate four people, so on some rides it can easily turn into a family car. Features on the model include a 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 9-inch digital instrument cluster, flat steering, a wireless charger, ADAS, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and more. Honda has tried to offer only what is particularly needed, rather than loading every other feature that could distract the driver.
