The 4680 Bharat Cell powered Ola Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh will be available at a price of Rs 1.30 lakh as compared to the existing price of Rs 1.90 lakh
Ola Electric has slashed the price of the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh by up to Rs 60,000 in the Indian market. The reason cited behind the price cut is the ramped up production of its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell at the Gigafactory, which comes fitted in the electric motorcycle as standard. The all-electric brand claims that increased cell production has resulted in improved cost efficiencies and hence the benefits are directly passed to the customers. Ola Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh price has come down to 1.30 lakh from Rs 1.90 lakh (Both ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
However, the electric motorcycle with slashed pricing will be sold through a limited purchase window model. Under this module, limited units of the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh will be available in specific time-bound slots. The first purchase window will open on Friday, April 3, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with subsequent windows to be announced periodically based on production availability.
Commenting on the announcement, an Ola Electric spokesperson said, “As production of our 4680 Bharat Cell scales, we are able to unlock significant cost efficiencies and pass them on directly to customers. The response to the Roadster has been extremely strong – the bike demand during our #EndICEAge campaign has grown more than 5X, and this new pricing makes long range electric mobility even more accessible.”

Ola Electric stated that the demand of the 4680 Bharat Cell powered Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh grew by five folds during the #EndICEAge campaign. It further added that the overwhelming response for the e-motorcycle has far exceeded current supply capacity. For the unversed, the electric motorcycle offers a range of up to 500 km on a full charge.
Ola’s 4680 Bharat Cell is designed and manufactured entirely in India. With the production scaled up, the input costs have gone down significantly. The brand is also working towards expansion of its Gigafactory, with capacity scaling toward 6 GWh. the company is gradually gaining the ground which it lost to rival brands such as TVS, Ather and Bajaj.

In March 2026 sales, Ola Electric registered over 150% month-on-month growth in registrations, reaching 10,117 units, while daily orders crossed 1,000 units in the last week of the month. The company’s market share in the electric two-wheeler segment also witnessed a V-shaped recovery, supported by structural improvements in service operations and a significantly enhanced ownership experience.
