Ola Electric Bounces Back, March 2026 Sales Cross 10K Units

Ola Electric posted an exceptional MoM growth of 150 percent in March 2026 with 10,117 registrations during the month

Ola Electric sales crossed 10,000 units in March 2026 in the Indian market. As per the data available at Vahan portal, the brand posted registrations of 10,117 units with daily sales surpassing 1,000 units in the last week of March 2026. It recorded MoM growth of over 150 percent as only 3,973 units were retailed in Feb 2026 and it was outnumbered by Greaves Electric Mobility (GEM) which sells Ampere electric scooters in India. Ola Electric witnessed sharp V-shaped MoM recovery in the market share.

Ola Electric spokesperson said, โ€œWe are seeing a clear inflection in demand, with daily orders scaling steadily through March and accelerating meaningfully in the final weeks. This momentum is being driven by the structural improvements in our service operations, which are now delivering faster turnaround times and a significantly better ownership experience. As customer confidence strengthens, we are seeing stronger conversion across our portfolio, giving us confidence that this recovery will further sustain and scale.โ€

The company stated that the surge in sales was fueled by a structural transformation in service operations. It claims that more than 80 percent electric scooters and motorcycles are now serviced on the same day as the availability of spare parts has improved. It is not a hidden fact anymore that Ola Electric was facing service challenges in recent months, which affected the sales volumes too.

The bottlenecks in the service operations were also flagged by the Managing Director Bhavish Aggarwal at an investors call. However, Ola Electric says that it has largely fixed this issue by implementing deep operational changes, faster diagnostics and improved turnaround times and customer experience. The various offers rolled out by the brand last month also helped in achieving this sales growth.

A special mention goes to the #EndICEAge campaign which introduced an array of industry-first ownership assurances, including the Service Trust Guarantee with complimentary Ola cab rides in case of service delays. It also came with a Buyback Guarantee with assured value on every electric scooter. Lastly, the 8-year extended warranty across the portfolio also helped the company in strengthening customer trust.

Ola Electric stated that during March 2026, it also became the first electric two-wheeler brand in India to cross 1 million cumulative registrations (as per VAHAN data). It is likely to race past Greaves Electric Mobility (GEM) in March 2026 sales and reclaim the fifth position behind the likes of TVS, Bajaj, Ather and Hero Vida.
