BSA, a Classic Legends brand owned by Mahindra has unveiled its first ADV at EICMA 2025, called the Thunderbolt. At first glance, it may look quite similar to the Yezdi Adventure, but the Thunderbolt has a few unique traits of its own. The Thunderbolt looks like a more premium product with a few futuristic design elements. BSA’s adventure bike features a yellow-tinted adjustable windshield, sleek twin taillights, a dual-barrel exhaust and a semi-fairing. The yellow on grey colour scheme seems to uplift the look of the bike.

However, like the Yezdi Adventure, the Thunderbolt features the asymmetrical twin headlight setup, a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel setup, a beak, and a few more elements. It will likely get a 15.5-litre fuel tank. The adventure bike also gets a set of USD forks, dual-purpose tyres, spoke wheels, dual-channel ABS, and much more. Additionally, the bike gets an all-new colour LCD or TFT display, which looks much better than the Yezdi Adventure’s negative display. BSA might have showcased a fully loaded bike that features a luggage rack, saddle bags and knuckle guards.

That said, the new Thunderbolt looks quite purposeful and well-built. As good as it is, we expect that this is an international-spec bike like the BSA Bantam 350 and the Scrambler 650. So, the BSA Thunderbolt may not make it to India. However, we expect that Yezdi could bring the Thunderbolt to India as an updated version of the Yezdi Adventure.

The BSA Thunderbolt will use the same engine as the Yezdi Adventure. It will get a 334cc engine producing 29.2bhp and 29.6Nm of torque along with a 6-speed gearbox. BSA have confirmed that the Thunderbolt will be available in select global markets by mid-2026. We can expect the Yezdi version to make it to India by the end of 2026. Yezdi may launch the Thunderbolt or the updated Adventure bike at a price tag of around Rs 2.70 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
