Norton Atlas GT Spotted Testing Again, Clearest Pics Yet

The Atlas GT adventure bike is likely to be the first model from Norton post its resurgence after the takeover by TVS

The Norton Atlas GT adventure motorcycle has been spotted again on the Indian roads ahead of its official launch in the country. However, this time around, it has been captured on camera without any sort of camouflage. The earlier spy images of the ADV bike showed its rear section, but the new images shared by Mithun Deshmukh on his Instagram handle reveal the front profile of the upcoming Norton adventure motorcycle in India. For those asking, the Norton Atlas GT had its world premiere at the EICMA 2025 in Italy.

Unveiled alongside the Norton Atlas, the GT version maintains its individuality with the inclusion of alloy wheels instead of the wire-spoke wheels seen on the standard Atlas. The spy pics show the signature LED DRL with bi-projector headlamp unit. In addition, one can clearly notice the cornering lights and puddle lamps beneath the headlamp setup.

The inclusion of a tall windscreen for wind protection sums up the overall front fascia of the Atlas GT. The ADV bike gets golden-colored USD front forks, which are said to be fully adjustable for compression and rebound. It flaunts muscular tank shrouds for a dominating road presence. The braking hardware is supplied by ByBre, as we can see a dual disc unit at the front.

A few other notable design highlights visible in the spy shots are a single-piece seat, dual exhaust pipes, and a massive radiator for engine cooling. The prototype showcased at the EICMA 2025 featured 19-inch front and 17-inch wheels with road-biased tires while sitting on a lightweight steel trellis frame, which is believed to be derived from the BMW F 450 GS platform.

Needless to state, the Norton Atlas GT is expected to carry a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of an 8-inch TFT screen, ride modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Off-road), lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, slide control, hill hold assist, wheelie control, launch control, remote preload adjuster, keyless ignition, USB-C charging port, cornering cruise control, heated seat and grips, and bidirectional quickshifter.

At the heart, it houses the 585cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine, which is likely to generate a power output in the ballpark of 68-72 bhp. It will be linked to a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. Norton has claimed that the ADV bike will have the widest torque spread in the segment. We expect the Atlas GT to launch by mid-2026 in the Indian market, as it will be initially sold via TVS showrooms until Norton establishes its own distribution network of dealerships.
