New Toyota Fortuner Rival –

To compete with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, a Korean manufacturer is all set with its new entrant. The SUV isn’t really new for India – it was on sale before being discontinued by 2017. Yes, the SUV will be making its comeback. Have you guessed the SUV yet? 

Well congrats to those who have guessed it right, while let us say its name for the remaining ones. So, the SUV is none other than the Hyundai Santa Fe. Yes, in a short time, the SUV will be making its way back to India and will be positioned to compete with the Toyota Fortuner.

Hyundai Santa Fe – Don’t Miss This

So, what all things does this Hyundai SUV have to offer and by far how has it grown in the years? Now, if you believe the Santa Fe will be another rugged looking SUV, you might be wrong. Hyundai has always looked not to shy away from offering a classy design. With that, the Santa Fe is a muscular looking SUV, which looks classy and even luxurious from the outside. Dare you, it also offers a good road presence thanks to its huge design.  

That was about the outside, but the interiors too look like you are sitting in any premium SUV. A huge cabin space loaded with high-quality materials and leatherette upholstery. Talking about the features – the Santa Fe offers a dual 12.3-inch screen setup, Bose premium sound system, powered and ventilated front and 2nd row seats and more in its package. That’s something that Toyota Fortuner will be shied away from. 

Under the hood, the SUV comes will a option of 3 powertrain setup – a 2.5-litre NA petrol engine (191bhp & 246Nm), a 2.5-litre turbo petrol engine (277bhp & 422Nm) and a 1.6-litre turbo petrol strong hybrid engine (178bhp & 265Nm).

Launch & Pricing

Now, if you are waiting for its launch – you would need to wait a bit more years. We are expecting this SUV to make its comeback not before 2028. Talking about the pricing, it could cost you somewhere around Rs 45 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
