If you are still confused, we are talking about the new-gen Kia Seltos! Last month, or the last year, Kia unveiled the new-gen Seltos. The SUV now gets a new design, new features, and is based on a new platform. However, the brand decided to create suspense by not announcing the prices. Having said that, tomorrow, that is on the 2nd of January 2026, Kia will finally announce the prices of the new Seltos! But what exactly can we expect? Well, currently, the Seltos is priced between Rs 12.82 lakh & Rs 23.76 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). For the new-gen, we can expect the Seltos to receive a hike of anywhere between Rs 40,000 & Rs 80,000, depending on the variants!

New Kia Seltos Launch – Other Details

The new-gen Seltos was expected to receive a new exterior & interior design, and this was revealed during the unveiling. However, what was not expected was the new platform. The Seltos is now based on the new K3 platform, which is longer & has a larger wheelbase than its predecessor. In fact, the new platform is also expected to have better safety than the outgoing model.

Apart from the new platform, the new Seltos gets a massive list of features. It includes – a 12.3-inch touchscreen system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, digital key, blind view monitor, wireless charging, HUD, panoramic sunroof, ADAS Level 2+, traction modes, 10-way powered driver seat with memory function, ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, and more in its package.

The engine options, however, don’t see any changes. The new-gen model continues with three engine options – a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, iVT, 7-speed DCT, 6-speed iMT, and 6-speed AT.
