The facelift brings in a great amount of cosmetic changes, giving the Kushaq a sharper and sportier look. Now, the Kushaq gets connected LED DRLs, a new headlight setup, a new grille design, aggressive front bumpers and side air vents upfront. Skoda has offered a new alloy wheel design for both the Monte Carlo and Prestige variants. The rear end has also received significant tweaks over the standard model. The SUV now gets an all-new LED taillight and a connected strip across the boot.

A new back-lit Skoda logo further enhances the rear design. It also gets a new rear bumper. The interior layout is more or less the same, with a few subtle changes to the colour scheme. That said, Skoda has done a great job with the design overhaul, and the Kushaq now looks even sportier and more aggressive.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift – Features

While Skoda has missed out on a few essential features like ADAS and a 360-degree camera, the brand has also brought in a very unique feature. For instance, for the first time in its segment or in fact any segment up to Rs 50 lakh, the Kushaq is the first to get massaging seats in the rear. The next car to get massaging seats is the Skoda Kodiaq, but even that gets massaging front seats. Skoda has also offered new features like a panoramic sunroof, rear disc brakes, an amplifier, a subwoofer and much more.

Powertrain

Skoda has left no page unturned and has offered a new gearbox with its smaller TSI engine. The Kushaq gets 2 engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (114bhp & 178Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (148bhp & 250Nm). The 1.0-litre TSI now gets a new 8-speed TC, replacing the older 6-speed TC. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre TSI engine continues to be accompanied by the infamous 7-speed DSG. The 1.5-litre TSI models will be offered with all-wheel disc brakes for better stopping power. That said, the new Kushaq does seem like a great package now!
