Hyundai Exter Facelift

The Hyundai Exter has been a hit in Indian markets. It has received great sales since its launch in 2023. With the facelift, Hyundai will tweak the lights and grille to keep it fresh. The Kia is known for its cabin, which features a three-screen cockpit, six airbags, wireless charging, Android Auto, Apple Carplay, a sunroof, and more. With the facelift, Hyundai will try to add features like a 360-degree parking camera and also increase the infotainment screen size.
The powertrain options are pretty slim with the 1.2L petrol and 1.2L petrol-CNG. The transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic. These options are expected to remain identical with the facelift.
The outgoing Exter starts at 6.7 lakh rupees and can go up to 11.3 lakh rupees (on-road, Mumbai). An insignificant price hike of 10-20,000 rupees is expected. Rumours suggest that the facelift will be on sale by early to mid-2026.
Hyundai Palisade

The Palisade will be Hyundai’s flagship SUV. It has been a hit in the global markets, and Hyundai is now planning to launch it in India as well. If launched, the Palisade will easily be the best-looking SUV in the segment. The vast proportions, slab-like headlamps and taillights and the giant grille give it a solid road presence. And with the right colour options, like green, it stands out in a crowd. Moreover, the Palisade will be equipped with all the bells and whistles, such as Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, powered front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. It will be a 7-seater as standard, but you can also choose 2nd row captain seats.

The US-spec powertrain options include a 3.5L V6 GDI and a 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid. The ICE trim produces 287 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque, while the hybrid churns out more than 320 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. You get an 8-speed AMT as standard. Being an SUV, it also gets AWD drivetrain options.
It will be priced between 50-60 lakh rupees (on-road, Mumbai), with an expected launch in early 2027 or mid-2027. If you plan to buy a Fortuner, you should definitely wait for this, since this feels like a better product.
Hyundai Inster EV

The Inster is a quirky-looking all-electric micro-SUV. Hyundai will unveil it as a competitor to the Tata Punch EV and as the cheapest EV in the Hyundai range. The upright stance and boxy wheel arches imitate those of an SUV. The pixel-like taillights and front turn indicators are characteristics of the IONIQ range.
The feature list will include ADAS, a sunroof, a 10.25″ driver’s display, a 10.25″ infotainment screen, wireless charging, etc. Inside, the Inster is practical and spacious for a car that is just 3.8m long. As for the powertrain, it will be offered with a 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery pack. The smaller battery has an effective range of 351 km, while the larger battery pack has a range of 394 km.
The car is expected to go on sale by early to mid-2027, and the pricing is expected to start at 13 lakh rupees (on-road, Mumbai).
Hyundai Bayon

The Bayon is a sub-4m compact SUV that is based on the i20 platform. It is sold globally as Hyundai’s entry-level SUV. It was recently spied on Indian roads, suggesting an imminent launch. Bayon features the characteristic Hyundai design with the split-headlamp setup. It is a good-looking car, and with the cladding, it looks like an i20 on steroids. The interior will share many parts with the Venue and Exterior. It will feature a 10.25″ driver’s display, a 10.25″ infotainment screen, ADAS, a sunroof, a Bose Sound system, etc.
It will use the all-new 1.2L turbo-petrol, which is supposed to sit between the 1.0L turbo-petrol from the Verna and the 1.5L turbo-petrol from the Creta. The gearbox options are yet to be revealed, but expect a CVT, 5-speed manual, iMT, and a DCT to be offered.

It is difficult to determine where the Bayon fits within its range, but Hyundai is promising to launch 26 models by FY2030, and the Bayon seems to be one of them. The price is expected to start at 10 lakh rupees and could go up to 14 lakh rupees (on-road, Mumbai). Speculation suggests it will be launched by mid-2026 and compete with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Tata Nexon.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift

The Ioniq 5 is Hyundai’s most luxurious offering, and the Korean manufacturer is now planning a facelift. It is expected to get revised headlamps, grille and bumpers, along with new alloy wheel designs. The overall boxy silhouette will remain identical.
The current Ioniq 5 offers an extensive feature list, including Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, heated ORVMs, etc., but lacks a rear wiper and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Hyundai would like to add these features with the facelift. The outgoing model has a 72.6 kWh battery pack, produces 215 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, and offers a 570km driving range. Expect the range and power figures to go up with the facelift.

A test mule was spotted recently, suggesting that the Ioniq 5 facelift is close. Rumours indicate that Hyundai plans to unveil the facelift in early to mid-2026.
Hyundai Tucson facelift

When the 3rd-gen Tucson was launched, the reception was relatively poor. While the first and second-gen Tucson received a decent response, the 3rd-gen was called overpriced and ugly. Hyundai plans to improve it with an upcoming facelift. The design is set to be revised with newer headlights and a grille. The Tucson will be offered as a premium SUV and will sit above the Creta in the Hyundai range.
The cabin will match the one from the Creta with the dual-screen cockpit. The feature list will be extensive, including Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, powered front seats, 7 airbags, 360-degree parking camera, etc.
The UK-spec Tucson gets a 72 kW motor mated to the 1.6L petrol engine, but due to low demand for plug-in hybrids, it is unlikely we will get this engine option in India. You can expect a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol and a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine to be offered. A 6-speed AMT will be available as standard.
Hyundai recently discontinued the Tucson, but plans to relaunch it by early to mid-2026. The pricing will be steep, with a range starting at 35 lakh rupees and top models touching 45 lakh rupees (on-road, Mumbai).
