Upcoming 7-seater SUV –

Guessing might have been difficult, as we literally haven’t spilled any details of the upcoming SUV, right? Now, to end the curiosity, this upcoming 7-seater will be an elongated version of the Renault Duster! The model will boast a bigger dimension, to comfortably seat 7 passengers obviously. Apart from that, it will boast a boxy-design, same as the Duster.

Talking about the interiors, expect the 7-seater to equip features including a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 10-inch instrument cluster, ventilated and powered front seats, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, and much more. In terms of safety, it is likely to get 6-airbags as standard along with basic features like ABS, ESC, EBD, ADAS, etc.

Powertrain details are currently kept under wraps, but we expect this Duster’s bigger sibling to get multiple powertrain options, including petrol, mild-hybrid, and strong-hybrid options paired with manual and automatic gearboxes. Exact details will be confirmed as we near its launch. But, when will this SUV be launched? 

Launch & Price

Renault is yet to reveal the launch timeline for this upcoming 7-seater SUV. However, we expect it to be launched by the second-half of 2026 – giving a tough competition to the Mahindra XUV7XO and Tata Safari. That also means Renault would need to be price competitive – something that Renault is known for. We expect the model to be priced between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 28 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
