Most-Awaited ADV Launch Date Confirmed! 

Any guesses? Well, it is none other than the BMW F 450GS. Ever since it was showcased, this BMW ADV has created massive buzz and anticipation. However, the F 450 GS will be launched in a little more than 2 weeks now. Yes, the wait is finally over, as BMW will be launching the motorcycle on April 23, 2026. BMW confirmed the launch of this exciting ADV on Instagram, raising the anticipation of its fans. While it has been launched in a few international markets, the Indian-spec F 450 GS could be slightly different. BMW may offer multiple variants of the motorcycle, and we can expect a price tag ranging from ₹4.5 lakh to ₹6 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). However, why is this such an awaited launch?

BMW F 450 GS Launch – What To Expect?

BMW is popular all across the world for its mind-bending track machines and robust Adventure motorcycles. And the F 450 GS will soon become the stepping stone into the brand’s long list of ADVs. BMW discontinued its G 310 GS, which was the entry-level ADV, last year, leaving a vacant entry-level spot, and the F 450 GS will now become the most affordable BMW ADV. The F 450 GS takes up after the bigger BMW adventure bikes in terms of design. The long beak, tall windscreen, a muscular semi-fairing and a tall stance, and much more add to the BMW’s charm. However, BMWs are all about function over form, and the F 450 GS is loaded with features that could help in a better riding experience.

It gets a slew of features like dynamic traction control, dynamic brake control, ABS pro, engine drag control torque, multiple riding modes, a 6.5-inch TFT display and the list goes on. There are also rumours that the ADV could come equipped with an automatic transmission, making riding easier. The highlight, however, is the new 450cc engine producing 48.67 bhp and 43Nm of torque along with a 6-speed gearbox. Weighing just 175kgs, the ADV will likely be quite manageable and even more fun-to-ride considering an impressive power-to-weight ratio. That said, the F 450 GS will be quite an exciting ADV, which could cause some serious damage to other ADVs in that segment, or even create its own segment altogether.
