Globally, the Maruti e Vitara gets two battery pack options – 49 kWh and 61 kWh.  The SUV primarily features a front-wheel drive (FWD) configuration. But the top-spec variants are available with an all-wheel drive (AWD) option. The smaller 49 kWh battery model produces 144bhp and 189Nm of torque. The most powerful variant is the dual-motor 61 kWh AWD version, delivering 184bhp and 300Nm. Now, the same was expected for the Indian market too. However, some reports suggest that Maruti might skip the AWD configuration in India – to keep the prices in check.
