Mahindra XUV700 Facelift

The new XEV 9S has been launched with an endless list of features and tech. Design-wise, the eSUV has a similar overall silhouette, side profile and rear end to the XUV700. The front of the SUV is quite similar to the XEV 9e. We can expect the facelifted XUV700 to borrow design elements from the XEV 9S, like the taillight design, rear bumper, a blacked-out boot trim panel and a few more. However, the front end will likely get a design overhaul, too. We expect a revised front bumper, grille design and new headlight design. Other than that, we also expect a new alloy wheel design as well, which could also be in the form of aero wheels (as spotted in spy shots). However, there will likely be a lot more changes in the features department. So, let’s take a look at those!

Expected Features

The XEV 9S has received a suite of features that were unheard of even in the XEV 9S. Features like sliding and ventilated 2nd row seats, 540-degree camera, powered co-driver seat, electric boss mode, and much more. So, the upcoming XUV700 facelift could borrow features from the XEV 9S, like:
- Powered co-driver seat
- Level 2+ ADAS
- 540-degree camera
- A triple-screen setup
- Sliding and ventilated second row seats
- Auto Park
- Head-up display with AR
- 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system
- Ambient lighting
- Intelligent Adaptive Suspension
- Secure360 with recording and live view
- Air purifier
- Wireless charging in the 1st and 2nd row
- Rear Sunshade
There are a lot more features that Mahindra could offer in the XUV700 facelift. However, the ones we have mentioned above seem the most likely feature upgrades for the facelift.

What Else?

Apart from the features, Mahindra will likely offer the same engine options as in the current XUV700: a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine (197bhp & 380Nm) and a 2.2-litre diesel engine (182bhp & 420Nm). The diesel engine is also offered with an AWD option, and the same is expected in the facelift. We can expect Mahindra to price the XUV700 facelift between Rs 17 Lakh and Rs 32 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
