Mahindra XEV 9S Vs Tata Harrier.ev – Price

Let’s begin with pricing, as it is something both SUVs have nailed. Starting with the most recent launch of the XEV 9S. Talking of which, the Mahindra XEV 9S has been launched between Rs 21.04 lakh & Rs 31.30 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). On the other hand, the Harrier.ev is currently priced between Rs 23.13 lakh & Rs 32.51 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). So yes, the XEV 9S is undercutting the Harrier.ev. Mahindra XEV 9S Vs Tata Harrier.ev – Verdict

Overall, deciding between these purely based on features, price, or performance could be tough. It boils down to the practicality. For instance, the Harrier.ev is a 5-seater SUV and misses on reclining rear seats. On the other hand, the XEV 9S is a 7-seater – enhancing the overall practicality & space. Mahindra already has the XEV 9e in its portfolio, which is essentially a 5-seater coupe SUV, rivalling the Harrier.ev. However, the more conventional design of the Harrier.ev is the preferred choice of buyers against the XEV 9e. So, will the launch of a feature-loaded & performance-packed electric SUV under the guise of XUV700, at an aggressive price, create trouble for Tata SUV?
