Design

Mahindra has tweaked the exterior as well as the interior of the XUV 7XO as part of the facelift. While the overall silhouette remains unchanged, it gets a slew of new design elements to set it apart from the XUV700. The SUV gets a set of new headlights and new DRLs, a new front grille, revised front and rear bumpers, a new alloy wheel design and much more. Moreover, the rear is very similar to the recently launched XEV 9S, with the smoked taillights and a black plastic element. That said, Mahindra has done a good job with the tweaks on the outside. On the inside, the XUV 7XO might seem very similar to the XEV 9e with the triple screen layout and the overall dashboard design. What’s different is a new interior colour theme – brown & beige, adding a more sophisticated feel to the cabin.

Features

With a facelift, Mahindra has also updated the feature list of the XUV 7XO! It now gets the popular triple-screen layout (12.3-inch each), a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a rear smartphone wireless charging pad, powered boss mode, Alexa compatibility with ChatGPT, sliding second-row seats, ventilated second-row seats, rear sunblinds, and much more.

In terms of safety, it continues to get 7 Airbags, adaptive cruise control, drowsiness detection, Level 2 ADAS, and more. Additionally, it now gets a 540-degree camera, which was seen on the XEV 9S.

Engine Options

What has always been the highlight of the XUV700 is the engine options. And thankfully, it has not been changed with a facelift. Even with the XUV 7XO, Mahindra is offering the same – 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine (197bhp & 380Nm) & a 2.2-litre diesel engine (182bhp & 450Nm). Both these engines continue with the same 6-speed MT & 6-speed AT gearbox options and are among the best-in-segment for performance and refinement. Also, both these engines are offered with options for a 6-speed MT & a 6-speed AT gearbox.
