The Austria-based two-wheeler brand sold a total of 16,411 units last month, including exports, in the Indian market
KTM India has begun 2026 fairly well with sales surpassing 16k units in the first month of the new year. The company registered overall sales volumes of 16,411 units in Jan 2026 which includes domestic numbers as well as exports. It registered an exceptional YoY growth of 143.70 percent as the total sales stood at 6,734 units in Jan 2025. The industry insiders and analysts consider GST 2.0 as one of the foremost contributors in this rise in sales as the prices of KTM bikes with engine capacity below 350cc were slashed and hence they became more affordable and accessible to the buyers.
As far as domestic market is concerned, KTM came close to retailing 10k units in Jan 2026 as the final tally stood at 9,568 units against 6,128 units in Jan 2025. Hence, it marked an impressive YoY growth of 56.14 percent. The MoM sales growth was even better at 70.16 percent as the brand had managed to retail 5,623 units in Dec 2025 in the Indian market.
