Kia Sonet New Variant Launched!
The Sonet is Kia’s 2nd-best-selling car, and it maintains a strong sales record despite not receiving any major updates since its 2020 launch. And to continue such sales, Kia has now introduced 2 new value-for-money variants: HTE (O) Diesel AT and HTK (O) Turbo-DCT.

With this update, the Sonet becomes the cheapest car to offer a diesel AT and a DCT gearbox in India. As per its ex-showroom price, it is the only car under Rs 10 lakh to offer these powertrain options. The Diesel AT range now starts at Rs 9.78 lakh, while the turbo-petrol DCT starts at Rs 9.9 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to making automatic gearboxes more accessible, Kia has introduced a new Magma Red colour scheme.
Before this update, the Diesel AT powertrain was only available on the HTX and GTX+ variants, while the Turbo-DCT was available on the HTX, GTX+, and X-line trims. But now, you can get it on lower variants as well.
