7-Seater Discounts – Maruti Suzuki Invicto

The Toyota Innova Hycross has been a huge success since its launch and is also one of the best-selling Toyotas last year. But its sibling did not receive the same love. The Maruti Suzuki Invicto sales remain low, and to boost these numbers up, Maruti is offering whopping discounts of up to Rs 1.3 Lakh. This amount includes a Rs 1 Lakh exchange bonus or a 1.15 Lakh scrapping bonus. You also get a Rs 15,000 corporate bonus.

The Invicto comes with the strong-hybrid powertrain as standard. This hybrid system is mated to a 2.0L petrol engine and an e-CVT gearbox. The feature list is pretty decent, with a 360-degree parking camera, TPMS, sunroof, ventilated front seats, and an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. You can also choose a 7-seater or an 8-seater configuration. Before accounting for the discounts, the Invicto costs between Rs 29.47 Lakh and Rs 33.72 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With these discounts, the Invicto is almost Rs 3 Lakh cheaper than the Innova Hycross hybrid.

7-Seater Discounts – Jeep Meridian

Jeep is currently offering discounts of up to Rs 2.4 Lakh on the Meridian. This discount includes a consumer discount of Rs 80,000, a special offer of Rs 30,000, and, if you opt for a 2024 model-year unit, a corporate discount of up to Rs 1.3 Lakh. Given that the Meridian hasn’t changed much over the years, getting a 2024 unit isn’t that big of a disadvantage.

Despite the low sales, the Jeep Meridian remains a great choice if you are looking for a 7-seater. The feature list is comprehensive, including ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, powered front seats, and so on. The engine options are limited to a 2.0L diesel, and the gearbox options include a 9-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual. The top-end variant also gets a 4WD option. The price range starts at Rs 29 Lakh, and the top variant costs Rs 45.86 Lakh. Many people have forgotten about the Jeep Meridian, but with these discounts, it can be a cheaper alternative to the Toyota Fortuner.

7-Seater Discounts – Tata Safari

The Tata Safari is a surprising addition to this list, due to its popularity. While the newly launched petrol variant offers none, the diesel variant does. It gets a Rs 75,000 discount on 2025 model year units. This discount is relatively easy to attain since it includes a Rs 50,000 exchange or scrappage bonus and a Rs 25,000 cash benefit.

The Safari is one of the most feature-loaded cars in the segment. The feature list includes a 14.5-inch touchscreen, Level 2+ ADAS, an Air purifier, wireless charging, ventilated seats in 1st and 2nd rows, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, etc. Moreover, you get 6-seater and 7-seater configuration options. For this discount, you get a 2.0L turbo-diesel as standard and 2 transmission options: a 6-speed Automatic and a 6-speed manual. Before discounts, the diesel variants range from Rs 17.50 Lakh to Rs 30.97 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
