The 2-wheeler industry, with an exceptional YoY growth of more than 35 percent, outnumbered every other industry such as 3-wheeler, 4-wheeler and commercial vehicle

The Indian two-wheeler industry registered an impressive YoY growth of 35.2 percent in Feb 2026 sales. A total of 18,71,406 units were sold last month as compared to 13,84,605 units in Feb 2025. Rajesh Menon, Director General, SIAM stated that the performance is backed by “positive sentiments” within the industry. He further said that sales momentum will continue in March as well due to the festive demand. However, Menon took a cautious view on the ongoing conflict in West Asia and warned that it could disrupt global supply chains.
