Honda Activa Touches 5 Million Sales Milestone in Maharashtra

As per the data shared by Honda, almost 2 lakh units of the Activa were retailed in Maharashtra on an annual basis

Honda Activa has achieved the sales milestone of 5 million units in the western state of Maharashtra, India. The scooter took 25 years for this feat to happen as nearly 2 lakh Activas were sold each year in Maharashtra. This sales milestone was achieved due to heavy demand in key cities such as Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Nagpur and Navi Mumbai. The company has a strong sales and service network in the state with over 700 touchpoints for the convenicence of the customers. The Activa comes with 110cc and 125cc engine options.

In Aug 2025, Honda launched the 25-year Anniversary Editions of the Activa 110 and Activa 125 at price points of Rs 92,565 and Rs 97,270 (Both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively, in the domestic market. Both the limited-edition models were rolled out with aesthetic enhancements while hardware, cycle parts and engine specs remained unchanged.

Honda Activa 110 25-year Anniversary Edition was presented in two paint schemes namely Pearl Siren Blue and Mat Steel Black Metallic. Based on the DLX trim, it comes equipped with Tubeless tyres, Side-stand engine cut-off function and Combined Braking System (CBS). Mechanically, it carries the same OBD-2B compliant 109.5cc petrol engine with identical power output and torque delivery as the standard model.

Flaunting exclusive anniversary graphics across the body panels, the Activa 110 25-year Anniversary Edition boasts of black chrome finishing at the front. Further, the scooter is rolled out with a 25-year Anniversary logo on the front panel while riding on alloy wheels in pyrite brown metallic colour. The inner panels and seat are offered in café-brown/black theme, depending on the colour of the scooter.

As for the Activa 125 25-year Anniversary Edition, it was introduced with similar cosmetic updates as the Activa 110. However, as compared to the café-brown/black theme of seat and inner panels in the Activa 110, the Activa 125 gets these elements only in Black paint shade. It is powered by the OBD-2B compliant 123.92cc single-cylinder PGM-Fi petrol engine with max power and peak torque unchanged.
