New-Gen Kia Seltos Spotted –

We had already hinted that the new-gen Seltos will be bigger in length compared to the outgoing version – and the spyshots suggest the same. The SUV, even being camouflaged, looks longer in length. The difference in length is likely to be 100mm, this expansion will make it the longest SUV in its segment. It can even offer a 7-seat configuration, but the details are yet to be confirmed. Alongside, it will liberate good space on the inside offering utmost comfort.

The new-gen Kia Seltos will sit on new 19-inch tyres, compared to the old 18-inch ones. Moreover, the spyshots suggest the model with 6 parking sensors at the front. The highlight here is the side parking sensor – which hints towards the auto-park feature. If we hit the bulls-eye, the Seltos might be the first SUV in the segment to get the auto park feature.

Another important update is that the Seltos might get a gear-selector knob alongside the drive mode selector (was earlier included too). Apart from that, other interior details are yet to be spotted.

What Else?

The SUV was fully camouflaged and we were not able to have more information about the design and interiors. According to us, the new SUV might carry the feature options from the Syros SUV. That said, expect the model to offer features like – trinity screen setup, ventilated front and rear seats, powered tailgate, powered front seats, level 2 ADAS and more in its package.
Under the hood, Kia could continue with the exact mechanical details. Currently, it comes with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine & a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. A hybrid powertrain was also under consideration, but the India-spec model is unlikely to get it as of now.
The model is likely to be launched in India by the first half of 2026. Pricing-wise, expect it to be priced between Rs 13.50 lakh to Rs 26 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). More information about the model is expected to be revealed in the coming time as we near its launch.
