Tata Punch.ev Facelift – Powertrain

With the facelift, the Punch.ev now gets 2 new battery pack options – 30kWh (87bhp & 154Nm) and 40kWh(127bhp & 154Nm). Claimed ranges for these battery options are 365 km and 468 km, respectively.

It is obvious which battery pack you should choose – the 40kWh one. Tata has made this option more accessible by offering it on the lower Smart + variant. But if you want an SUV with a substantial claimed range and all the necessary features, you should go for the Empowered trim. It misses out on a few features from the top variant, like front ventilated seats and a sunroof, but otherwise, there are no omissions that would make you regret your decision.
