Authorities across Delhi-NCR including Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, have enforced a temporary ban on BS-III and BS-IV diesel cars as air quality levels rise beyond the “severe” category, i.e. beyond the 400 mark.

The restriction, issued under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), will remain in effect until pollution levels improve and the AQI consistently stays below 400 for a period.
