Tata Sierra Delivery Begins

The Sierra crossed over 70,000 bookings within 24 hours of taking orders on 16 December 2025. But, the wait has finally come to an end. After months of anticipation, Tata is now all ready to bring its iconic Sierra to the streets. The delivery of the Tata Sierra will commence from tomorrow. Adding to the initial bookings, the homegrown carmaker also claimed that additional 1.35 lakh customers had submitted their preferred configurations awaiting to complete their formalitites.

Production at Sanand plant in Gujarat is in full swing, and Tata has now boosted monthly targets from 7,000 to around 12,000-15,000 units per month. The idea is to reduce the waiting time in order to cater to their buyers at the earliest.

Powertrain & Features

The new Sierra competes with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Victoris.

The Sierra is offered in three engine options- the brand’s latest 1.5-litre TGDi petrol engine, 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, and the 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine. Starting at a mouth watering price tag of Rs. 13.50 lakh (on-road Mumbai), the SUV will be available in 7 variants.

Adding the powertrain options, the Sierra offers some impressive top of the segment specs. Ranging from Level 2 ADAS, triple screen setup, head-up display, 360 degree camera, 6 airbags to 12-speaker JBL Black Sound System and other features, the Sierra has everything to offer.
