The BMW M 1000 RR takes only 3.2 seconds to do the 0-100 kmph sprint before topping out at 280 kmph
BMW Motorrad India has launched the M 1000 R at a staggering price point of Rs 33.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India) in the country. The supersport roadster has been brought to the Indian shores via the CBU route and pre-bookings have started from today across all the company authorized dealerships in India. BMW M 1000 RR deliveries will start in May 2026. The German brand claims that the latest version of the roadster comes with improved track performance due to revision in traction control and M Quick action throttle.
BMW M !000 RR flaunts a new twin LED headlamp setup which is inspired by the other RR models in the BMW’s line-up. It is rolled out in Light White non-metallic / M Motorsport and White Aluminum metallic matt paint shades. In addition, the customers can also avail Blackstorm metallic/M Motorsport colour scheme with the M Competition package.
The rear frame and swingarm of the BMW M 1000 RR are finished in Platinum Grey metallic with every colour option. Riding on M Carbon wheels, it is presented in deep black shimmering carbon fibre structure. The brake ducts are positioned into the front mudguards to optimize airflow near the fork legs and brake calipers. The M logo can be seen on the air intake between the headlights.

Needless to state, the roadster motorcycle is packed with a plethora of advanced and upmarket features in the form of 6.5-inch TFT instrument cluster, rear USB charging socket, adaptive turning light, electronic cruise control, heated grips, start-up animation with M logo, and ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race and Race Pro1-3. A special mention goes to Dynamic Traction Control DTC and DTC wheelie function with 6-axis sensor box.
Equipped with a 999cc 4-cylinder water-cooled petrol engine, BMW M 1000 RR has top power of 207 bhp at 13,750 rpm and peak torque of 113 Nm at 11,100 rpm. The supersport roadster sprints from 0-100 kmph in merely 3.2 seconds while clocking a top speed of 280 kmph. It comes with a standard warranty for ‘three years, unlimited kilometres’, with an option to extend the warranty to fourth and fifth year.
