The discount of up to Rs 2.40 lakh brings down the ex-showroom price to just Rs 2.10 lakh, which is even less than half of its standard price.
BMW CE 02 electric scooter is available with heavy discounts of up to Rs 2.40 lakh in the Indian market. However, it is believed to be on MY25 units which are still unsold with select BMW dealers across the country. The CE 02, developed locally at TVS factory in Hosur, was launched in Oct 2024 in India at a starting price of Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Hence, post the discount of Rs 2.40 lakh, the effective ex-showroom price of the all-electric scooter comes down to merely 2.10 lakh, which is even less than half of its standard price.
Our friends at Autocar India reported that a BMW dealer in Mumbai has listed the on-road price of the CE 02 base variant at Rs 2.50 lakh while another dealer in Bengaluru is offering the Highline trim at Rs 3 lakh (on-road). The discounted rates make it a once-in-a-lifetime kind of unmissable deal as the CE 02 ranks among the most expensive scooter models in India.
The on-road pricing of Rs 2.50 lakh undercuts TVS X which is sold at a sticker price of Rs 2.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). BMW CE 02 comes with multiple ride modes in the form of Flow, Surf and Flash. The optional Highline package comes with additional features such as Bluetooth interface, SP Connect smartphone holder, Flash riding mode, 1.5 kW quick charger and heated grips.

Available in Cosmic Black as the basic colour and granite grey metallic matt for the motor cover, BMW CE 02 boasts of all-LED lighting for the headlamp, turn indicators and tail-lamp cluster. It tips the weighing scale at 142 kg while the saddle height is pegged at 745 mm. The electric scooter sits on a torsionally rigid double-loop frame made of tubular steel which is suspended by telescopic front forks and monoshock rear absorber.
Some of the notable features onboard the CE 02 electric scooter are Cast light aluminum alloy wheels, Single-sided swingarm, Front and rear disc brakes, BMW Motorrad ABS, 3.5-inch micro TFT display, USB-C charging socket, Electric reverse gear, Keyless Ride, Power-saving mode, Automatic Stability Control (ASC), Recuperation Stability Control (RSC) and Adjustable hand levers.

Equipped with two air-cooled lithium-ion batteries of 3.9 kWh, BMW CE 02 has an iCAT-certified range of 108 km on a single charge. The electric motor generates max power of 14.7 bhp and peak torque of 55 Nm. The all-electric scooter does a 0-50 kmph sprint in just 3 secs before topping out at 95 kmph. It comes with a 0.9 kW standard external charger while an optional 1.5 kW quick charger is available with Highline package.
