Bajaj To Launch ADV?

Bajaj has been one of the best-selling bikemakers in India, with its massive Pulsar range and the sole scooter, the Chetak. All these years, the Pulsar range of bikes has had a massive fan-following, thanks to a sporty and purposeful character at an affordable price. But Bajaj still hasn’t explored all the segments in India yet. In fact, until the Chetak was launched, Bajaj was not selling any scooters in the Indian market.
The Chetak electric, the brand’s first shot into the electric scooter segment, has been a massive success. And now, as confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj, the company will look to try out a new segment with a 125-250cc bike. Much like the Pulsar, which is a brand identity within itself, Bajaj is looking forward to introducing another one to cater to a wider audience. But what will this new bike be?

What To Expect?

We believe that Bajaj will likely introduce an ADV or a dual-sport motorcycle. The demand for ADVs in the market has seen a massive surge, and Bajaj will look to capitalise on that. KTM and Bajaj have together worked on the KTM 250 Adventure, and Bajaj could simply introduce a bike based on the same platform. The Indian motorcycle brand is popular for aggressive pricing, and if they do introduce a 250cc adventure bike, Indian buyers will be ecstatic about this. On the other hand, bikes like the Xpulse 210, Kawasaki KLX230 and the KTM Enduro 390 are also quite popular in India. It is possible that Bajaj could introduce a 125cc to 250cc bike in the dual-sport segment.
However, there is a much higher chance of a Bajaj Adventure 250, considering KTM and other brands are thriving in the ADV segment, and we are sure Bajaj wants a piece of this cake. So, we can expect Bajaj to roll out its first-ever adventure bike in India, which could have a 250cc engine like the KTM counterpart. With a great package of features, tech, performance and reliability, if Bajaj is able to price the ADV right, every ADV enthusiast will turn to Bajaj. We can expect to see this bike by mid-2026 or the festive season
