The MG Majestor is a flagship 7-seater SUV that’s up for launch tomorrow. It’s officially India’s first D+ segment car, which is set to make an impact and dominate the segment. The Majestor is positioned as a more premium, feature-loaded alternative to the Gloster, aiming to offer a commanding road presence like the Fortuner. But Majestor comes with significantly more comfort and modern amenities. The SUV is already on sale in global markets and will make its official entry in India tomorrow.

The Majestor measures 5,046 mm in length. It’s approximately 300mm longer than the Toyota Fortuner and 50mm longer than the MG Gloster. On the design side, the vehicle is massive and boxy, which emphasises its road presence. A massive blacked-out grille, vertically stacked headlamps, and vertical DRLs garnish the front fascia. “Majestor” branding prominently displayed on the tailgate. The vehicle comes with a massive 19-inch alloy wheel setup that adds to its rugged stance.
Majestor comes in four colour options :
- Metal Black
- Pearl White
- Concrete Grey
- Metal Ash

The Majestor will be offered in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. For ease of access, there are handlebars on the dashboard, as well as A-pillars and D-pillars. The vehicle has a boot capacity of 343 litres with all the seats up.
As for the cabin features, there’s a large 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a JBL sound system, and 64-colour ambient lighting. Front seats are powered, with ventilation and massage features. Dual wireless charging is present, and the vehicle gets a Panoramic sunroof.

The Majestor comes with a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine with a power output of 215.5 bhp and 480 Nm of Torque. On the transmission side, an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox is provided. The vehicle will be available with two drivetrain options: RWD and 4WD. The MG Majestor features an advanced 4×4 system with 10 specialised terrain/off-road modes to handle different surfaces, including Sand, Snow, Mud, and Rock. The vehicle also features a triple differential lock (front, rear, and centre) and a 4WD system, enabling it to navigate extreme terrain.

As the price will be revealed tomorrow, we can expect the vehicle to be launched between ₹ 47.50 lakh and ₹ 55 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Bookings were already open, and the deliveries are expected to begin by May.
