2026 Bajaj Pulsar 180 India Launch Soon, Clear Images Inside

The Pulsar 180 is making a comeback after four years in the standard street naked form sans the semi-fairing in India

Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, had rightly stated that 2026 will be the year of Pulsars as after presenting the 2026 Pulsar 150 and 2026 Pulsar 125 in the last few months, it is now ready with the 2026 Pulsar 180. The Pune-based two-wheeler brand is updating the Pulsar Classic range with new colours and features, and the Pulsar 180 is the latest model to get this cosmetic makeover. The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 180 has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its official launch, hinting that dealer dispatch has begun and a launch is imminent.

The leaked images show that Bajaj has not tinkered with the iconic Pulsar design as the signature silhouette has been retained, except for a handful of subtle updates. The spied unit flaunts black as the basic body colour with red and grey highlights. The body panels receive a carbon-fibre-like finishing for a sportier appearance. The headlamp boasts of a LED unit now in place of the halogen bulb.

As for the features, the 2026 Pulsar 180 gains an all-digital instrument cluster with LCD screen among other notable updates. It also boasts of LED turn indicators, 17-inch alloy wheels, and clip-on handlebars while we can also expect Smartphone Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation. The addition of these bells and whistles make the motorcycle more premium and at par with its rivals.

The Pulsar 180, seen at the Bajaj showroom, is in the standard street naked form sans the semi-fairing. It is packed with a single-piece seat and rear disc brake which hints that the bike could be offered in multiple variants. The 2026 Pulsar 180, captured on camera at the dealership, houses a black-coloured exhaust pipe which we see only in the Pulsar 220F.

Strategically positioned between the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 220F, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar is in direct competition with TVS Apache RTR 180 and Honda Hornet 2.0 in the Indian market. The bike is making a comeback in the country after almost four years as it was discontinued in Aug 2022 due to steep decline in sales volumes and make way for more premium models like the Pulsar N160 and NS160.

The technical specifications of the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 180 are not in public domain yet. However, we expect the company to shed light on the E20 fuel compliant engine soon as we inch closer to the launch. The 2026 Pulsar 180 could be priced around Rs 1.25-1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Stay tuned to this page for more updates on the same.
