Indian Government To Hike Toll Prices!

If you’re planning a cross-country road trip, you need to hear this out! The toll rates are about to be hiked on the major roadways. From April 1st 2026, this applies to all routes under the National Highway Association of India (NHAI). Major routes include the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, the Bengaluru-Mysuru corridor, and the Delhi-Mumbai corridor. The hike ranges from 3% to 5%. For comparison, earlier, a go-around trip from Mumbai to Pune would cost you around Rs 630; with the hike, it will cost about Rs 640.
