Suzuki Burgman 150 Launch Date Confirmed!

The Burgman 125 has been a very successful product for Suzuki, being one of the most sought-after maxi-scooters in India. Following the success, Suzuki has now dropped a teaser, revealing the headlights of its upcoming scooter. The twin-headlight setup hints towards a refreshed design of the existing Burgman. However, with more people buying bigger 150cc scooters like the Hero Xoom 160, the Aprilia SR 160 and many others, we believe that Suzuki would want to go big too.

We expect Suzuki to launch a new 150cc maxi-scooter, expanding its lineup and utilising the already popular Burgman nameplate. The Japanese brand has confirmed that this scooter will be launched on April 2. If it is a Burgman 150, it could be priced around Rs 1.45 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). That said, here’s what we expect to see in the Burgman 150!

What To Expect?

If Suzuki does launch a Burgman 150, it would be the brand’s flagship scooter for India. So, we can expect to see a good amount of features and ample performance on tap. Features include all LED lighting, a TFT instrument cluster, ride modes, ABS, app-connected features and much more. We can expect to see a 149cc engine producing around 12 bhp and 13Nm of torque. Although no details have been revealed, it is likely that it is the Burgman 150.
