Bajaj Pulsar NS350Z, Dominar 350 India Launch in April 2026

The Pulsar NS350Z and Dominar 350 will replace the 400cc versions of both the bikes as they are likely to be discontinued altogether in India

Recently, Triumph India announced the launch date of its upcoming 350cc range of motorcycles in the country. Now, it has been learnt that the Bajaj Pulsar NS350Z and Dominar 350 will also go on sale around the same time in the Indian market. We have confirmed information that both these 350cc Bajaj bikes will replace the existing 400cc models as they launch by mid-April in the domestic market. Reportedly, the Pune-based two-wheeler brand has stopped the production of the Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 and limited stocks are available with company dealers.

Bajaj’s official helpline confirmed that the Pulsar NS400Z production has already been discontinued in India. However, the company’s flagship motorcycle is still listed on the Bajaj website and it can be booked online as well. Similar is the case with the Dominar 400 as its production has come to an end but it is still pretty much shown on the website with bookings open.

The upcoming Pulsar NS350Z and Dominar 350 will be identical to their 400 counterparts in terms of design and features, except for the new badging. The company has carried out this move to enjoy the benefits of lower tax. Just so you know, bikes with engine capacity below attract 18 percent as compared to 40 percent tax on models with engine capacity above 350cc.

Earlier, there used to be a uniform GST on two-wheelers at 28 percent. However, things changed in Sep 2025 when the Indian government rolled out the GST 2.0 with changes in tax slabs on two-wheelers, depending on the engine capacity. This led to the increased GST on bikes like Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 which subsequently hiked their prices, making them more expensive than before for the buyers.

Therefore, Bajaj has come up with this strategy of introducing both these models with a downsized engine below 350cc displacement so that they can be priced aggressively against the rivals from Royal Enfield which has the largest portfolio of 350cc bikes. The 350cc engine in question is not an all-new powertrain but developed from the existing 373cc engine.

The 350cc engine will have a reduced bore while retaining the same stroke. The power and torque figures are likely to come down a bit as compared to the ongoing models in the 400cc guise. The Dominar 400 is sold at a price point of Rs 2.40 lakh while the Pulsar NS400Z is available at a sticker price of Rs 1.94 lakh. The new 350cc models are expected to get a significant reduction in price at around Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1.50 lakh for the Dominar 400 and Pulsar NS400Z, respectively.
