New Defender Rival – Market Position

While Rox Motor hasn’t announced any formal launch timeline or pricing for India, the patenting of a design and specifications indicates a serious interest in the region. If launched, the Rox 01 would likely be positioned as a tech-focused alternative to the Land Rover Defender, targeting buyers interested in long-range hybrid efficiency and good ADAS integration.
As a premium offering, we could see it priced between Rs 1 Crore and Rs 1.25 Crore (on-road, Mumbai). It would be expensive, but you also get many luxuries in return.
