The motorcycle segment was ruled by Hero Splendor while Bajaj Platina and Hero Glamour were ousted by TVS XL and Honda Shine 100 in Feb 2026
Hero Splendor continued as the top-selling motorcycle in Feb 2026 with sales close to 3.09 lakh units. It has presence in the 100cc segment of bikes with three models namely Splendor Plus, Splendor Plus XTEC, and Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 at starting prices of Rs 74,902, Rs 78,428, and Rs 80,964, respectively. In addition, a more premium version in the form of Super Splendor XTEC with a 125cc engine is also available at a sticker price of Rs 82,757 in the Indian market. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The second position was occupied by Honda Shine 125 with sales of around 1.38 lakh units. Identical to its arch rival Hero Splendor, it is also offered with multiple engine options (100cc and 125cc) in a total of three variants namely Shine 100, Shine 100 DX and Shine 125. The MoM sales of the Shine 125 declined by a heavy margin as the brand had retailed well over 1.60 units in Jan 2026.
The third spot was secured by Bajaj Pulsar with volumes of over 1.11 lakh units. Though the MoM sales suffered with de-growth reported as the Pune-based two-wheeler brand had sold nearly 1.30 lakh units in Jan 2026. Bajaj Pulsar is available in four distinct model categories in the form of N, NS, RS, and Classic with engine options ranging from 125cc to 400cc. Bajaj retails a total of 11 motorcycles under the ‘Pulsar’ nameplate in the country.

The fourth and fifth positions were bagged by Hero HF Deluxe and TVS Apache with 71,717 units and 45,166 units, respectively. While the HF Deluxe belongs to the entry-level commuter segment, the Apache is sold with various engine options from 160cc to 300cc. The sixth spot was also held by yet another TVS model in the form of the XL moped with sales of 45,095 units in Feb 2026.
Honda CB Unicorn 160 took the seventh position with volumes of 36,317 units as it raced past TVS Raider with a margin of even less than 200 units. The Raider sales in Feb 2026 stood at 36,134 units and it had to stay content with the eighth spot. Royal Enfield Classic 350 was the only premium model in the list of top 10 motorcycles in Feb 2026 with sales of 34,307 units.

Last but not the least, the tenth spot belonged to Honda Shine 100 with sales of 32,922 units. The two models, which featured in the list in Jan 2026, but were ousted this time around were Bajaj Platina and Hero Glamour. So, in all, as we can see, the traditional and legacy nameplates like the Splendor, Pulsar and Apache continued their dominance in the motorcycle segment.
