Tata Motors has officially shaken up the premium SUV segment with the launch of the Tata Harrier.ev Fearless+ QWD(Quad Wheel Drive), which was previously exclusive to the top-of-the-line Harrier.ev. By introducing the ‘’Fearless+’’ trim persona, Tata has made its most capable drivetrain roughly Rs 2.5 lakh cheaper than before. Tata has officially launched a more affordable version of the Harrier.ev at Rs 28.15 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), making it the brand’s most accessible AWD SUV. This targets enthusiasts who want the off-road prowess of the QWD system without necessarily paying for every single “Empowered’’ luxury feature.

Performance and Specs

The Fearless+ QWD is built on the Tata Acti.ev+ architecture, and features a motor on both the front and rear axles. Comes with a 75 kWh LFP battery with a combined power of 313bhp and a combined torque of 504 Nm. 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds (Boost Mode) with a claimed range of 622 Km.

The “QWD” tag isn’t just a strategy; the vehicle comes equipped with 6 terrain modes: Rock Crawl, Mud, Ruts, and Sand, and a dedicated Off Road Assist mode to crawl through any obstacles, and a Boost Mode when you need that instant push of that 504 Nm of Torque. Tata has already showcased the Harrier.ev’s off-road capabilities in a RedBull challenge as well as the Elephant Rock challenge.

Interior And Features

Even though it’s a mid-spec variant for the AWD system, the Fearless+ is not at all basic. Tata has stacked it with their latest tech suit. Comes with a 12.3-inch Cinematic Touchscreen and a 10.25-inch Digital Instrument Cluster. 6-way powered driver seat with Memory Function and a 4-way powered co-driver seat.

For comfort, the Harrier Fearless+ comes with front ventilated seats and dual-zone climate control, a 10-speaker JBL Audio System for a concert-like experience.
