Exteriors:

With the update, Kushaq has a sharper, more aggressive look, featuring connected LED DRLs, a new headlight setup, a new front grille, and a revised bumper. To the rear, this updated SUV gets some changes, including a back-lit ‘Skoda’ logo, new LED tailights, a connected strip across the boot, and a revised bumper. Also, to give it a refreshed look, Skoda has introduced 3 new colours: Shimla Green, Steel Grey, and Cherry Red.

Interiors:

Inside the cabin, the Kushaq facelift appears to be the same as before. But Skoda has introduced a unique feature from the luxury car segment into an under-20-lakh car. The brand has introduced messaging in the segment for the first time, available only to rear passengers. In addition to this are the features such as a panoramic roof, an amplifier, rear disc brakes, a subwoofer and much more.

Powertrain:

Under the hood, the Kushaq is the same as before, featuring 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines. What needs to be highlighted here is that the 1.0-litre TSI provides claimed mileage of 16.09 kmpl and 16.66 kmpl. The smaller 1.0-litre engine now gets the new 8-speed TC gearbox, alongside the 6-speed manual offering. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre will continue to have the 7-speed DSG option with this update as well.

With the price tag and other offering this would compete directly against the segment leader, Hyundai Creta, and the newcomer Tata Sierra; the other rivals remain the Volkswagen Taigun and Kia Seltos. With the new prices and feature list Kushaq Facelift seems to be a good deal. What do you think about this updated Kushaq?
