Top 10 Scooters in Feb 2026 – Activa, Jupiter, Access, RayZR

The scooter segment was dominated by Honda Activa while Honda Dio was ousted from the list by Yamaha Ray ZR in Feb 2026

Honda Activa continued its dominance in the scooter segment in Feb 2026 with sales of more than 2.50 lakh units in the Indian market. However, the MoM sales dropped by around 18,000 units as the brand had managed to retail around 2.72 lakh units in Jan 2026. The Activa, available with 110cc and 125cc engine options, is the most popular model in the scooter segment as it has completed 25 years in the domestic market. Honda Activa was introduced in 2001 as the Japanese brand’s first two-wheeler for the Indian market.

The second position in the list was retained by TVS Jupiter with sales volumes of over 1.27 lakh units. Similar to the Activa, it also witnessed a de-growth on MoM basis as close to 1.30 lakh units were retailed in Jan 2026. The Jupiter is available with 110cc and 125cc engines while being the second most sold scooter in the Indian market.

The sixth spot was captured by Bajaj Chetak with 28,004 units in Feb 2026 which is more or less similar to its retail volume of 28,216 units in Jan 2026. The seventh position was occupied by Hero Destini 125 with 27,369 units. The sales numbers of the scooter were no different in Jan 2026 as the company retailed 27,782 units. It is the only Hero model in the list of top 10 scooters in Feb 2026.

Suzuki Burgman dethroned Honda Dio from eighth position with sales of 23,366 units in Feb 2026. Despite selling fewer units than Jan 2026 (23,474 units), it raced past the Honda scooter to bag the eighth position as sales of Dio witnessed a rapid decline. Yamaha RayZR entered the list of 10 highest-selling scooters in Feb 2026 for the first time with 22,593 units.

The tenth and final position was held by Ather Rizta with sales of 20,322 units in Feb 2026. The company had sold 20,155 units in Jan 2026. Looking at this list closely, one thing can be said with conviction that electric scooters are no longer niche models as they are competing neck-to-neck with ICE-powered scooters and we are pretty confident that their sales will only grow with each month passing.
