Your Favourite Japanese Car To Get Updated!
We are talking about India’s favourite sedan, the Honda City. At one point, it was the most desirable car on the market, but sales dipped as SUV demand rose. But to liven things up, Honda is set to bring big updates to the City. According to our sources, Honda is keeping the City facelift under wraps. However, we have managed to find out some key details about the facelift.

With the facelift, Honda will give the City some much-needed spice. The overall changes will be subtle, but it will draw some inspiration from the global-spec Civic. Sportier looks have worked in favour of the Virtus, and Honda would try the same move with the City.

Honda City Facelift – Key Updates

Another key update with the facelift would be the inclusion of a 360-degree camera. Moreover, the Honda Sensing (Level 1 ADAS) safety features would be made standard across all variants. These autonomous features include –
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CBMS)
- Lead Car Departure Notification System
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
- Rear Departure Mitigation System
- Auto High-Beam
Honda may also decide to make 6 airbags standard with the update. The inclusion of an ADAS suite would be pretty impressive, as it is the only car to offer it as standard. In fact, the Skoda Slavia or the Volkswagen Virtus don’t offer it even on the top variants.

We will be seeing the City facelift in the second half of 2026. After which, it will also be launched in the Indonesian market.
