Kia Carens Clavis EV Prices Leaked!

This unique 7-seater we are talking about is none other than the Kia Carens Clavis EV. We say it’s unique as it is the only 7-seater EV in its segment, with no direct competition. Currently priced between Rs 19.08 lakh and Rs 25.89 lakh, the MPV boasts a plethora of features, great comfort and a spacious cabin. And now, Kia is preparing to expand its lineup by adding its new variants to Kia Carens Clavis EV with GTX, GTX+ and X-Line. These variants are expected to offer the top-most premium features compared to the existing variants. The Carens lineup has already become one of the most premium 6 or 7-seater experiences in India.

Kia Carens Clavis EV Prices Leaked

According to leaked information, the expected prices of the new variants are:

• GTX (6-seat / 7-seat) – ₹22.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
• GTX+ (6-seat / 7-seat) – ₹24.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
• X-Line (6-seat / 7-seat) – ₹24.99 lakh (ex-showroom)

What To Expect?

GTX and X-Line variants, which generally offer cosmetic changes like sportier styling and a more exclusive look. These trims mainly bring dark gunmetal and glossy black exterior accents, along with a unique interior theme. Similar to the GTX and X-Line trims seen on the Kia Seltos, the upcoming model could also feature distinctive upholstery and two-tone interiors to enhance its premium appeal. But will it get new features?

The upcoming variants will offer features similar to the HTX+ variant, with some additional cosmetic changes. Features include dual 12.25-inch screens for infotainment and a digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, Bose premium sound system, 4-way powered driver seat, smart air purifier with AQI display, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, and Level-2 ADAS safety suite. 

The higher variants are expected to come with the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack, which offers the longest range in the lineup. The claimed range is expected to be around 490 km on a single charge, depending on the driving style and conditions.

Should You Wait?

Waiting for the official launch might make sense if you are considering purchasing a feature-rich six or seven-seater. Better features, increased comfort, and competitive pricing could make the new models the best choice in the MPV car segment. These details, however, are based on leaks. Kia has not yet provided an official confirmation.
