Upcoming JSW SUVs

JSW has made quite a splash since announcing its entry into the automotive industry. While it already manufactures cars under its partnership with MG, this time around, it will sell cars under its own name. 2 of its upcoming SUVs have already been spotted: the Jetour T2 and Chery iCar V23.

These models are already on sale in global markets, which lets us have a clearer look at how the Indian-spec model could look. And now we also know how safe these cars would be. Both of these SUVs were recently tested by ASEAN NCAP, and the results were quite impressive.

These features are also expected to be offered on the Indian spec Jetour T2.

The 5-star rating may not suggest it, but the smaller, Chery iCar v23 performed better in these tests. It scored –

Expected Launch And Pricing

JSW has already announced that it will launch its first car by Diwali of 2026 (around October-November). Speculations suggest that the Jetour T2 PHEV would be the first car to leave the JSW production line, and the Chery iCar V23 will follow soon, by early 2027.

The manufacturer has also suggested that it would play in the Rs 15-30 lakh bracket. We expect both these cars to be offered at the higher end of this price bracket, but their pricing could be slowly lowered if JSW manages 100% localisation.
