New Special Edition Launched!
Mahindra has played the special-edition gimmick a couple of times before, with the BE6. This move worked particularly well with the BE6 Batman edition. And now it’s big brother, the XEV 9E, that gets one as well. The 9E was Mahindra’s best-selling EV last month, and the automaker is planning to keep up these sales with the new Cinelux edition. But what’s special about it?

With the Cineluxe edition, Mahindra aims to freshen up things. It will be a more premium offering to the already premium XEV9E. The Cinelux edition will only be available on the top Pack Three variant and is priced at Rs 31.17 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The bookings for the Cinelux edition have already commenced, and the deliveries will start by 10 March 2026.

What’s Changed?

Aesthetically, the overall design remains the same, but the changes come with the paint scheme. You get two new colour options – satin white and satin black. The aim of this paint scheme is to give it a classier look.
Bigger changes come on the inside, with new cabin themes. It is available in a chestnut brown and Nocturn Black dual-tone interiors. These two colours contrast well and give the cabin a plush feel. It also gets 3 new AC modes – Keep, Camp and PawPal mode, along with Custom Drive Modes, Digital Key, Secure360 Pro, and personalised user profiles.
