India remains central to Honda’s global strategy as the company plans to develop it as global manufacturing hub for midsized motorcycles
Honda will export made-in-India middleweight motorcycles to several European countries in the coming months. The brand is aiming to project India as its global manufacturing hub for key export markets. Presently, Honda motorcycles are shipped from India to 62 international markets. Now, it will start exports to markets with roads similar to India. Just so you know, the Japanese brand has a market share of approx 40 percent in global two-wheeler market.
Honda’s Corporate Update 2025 states that India is being prepared as a key export hub and shipping of midsized bikes to Europe will commence soon in a phased manner from this year. As mentioned before, Honda exports made-in-India bikes to 62 countries which includes North America, Central and South America, the Middle East, Africa and regions of Asia.
